The return of the straightforward thread title.

Good memories of Swindon. That League Cup semi. That 7-0 win.

And a win needed to keep up pressure on the automatic promotion places. With moderate opposition we ought to manage it, but for some reason I've got the jitters about this.

You where correct Richard to have jitters, until we get a goal scorer the best we can hope for is the playoffs. Madine is simply shocking and my wheelie bin would make a more potent striker! Why does PP persist with Thorpe alongside spearing, way to negative, especially when we're at home. Next week at Southend as now turned into a must win game! Look at the turnaround between us and Scunny since NYE, difference between a footballing side and a hoof footballing side! All in all bloody typical of Bolton, let's prey we can somehow get a striker on loan and soon!

We just can't put away the crap sides...we've played Swindon, Coventry, Chesterfield, Shrewsbury and have come away with four points (a win and a draw secured with injury time goals).

Without an averagely reliable striker we have no chance of going up. Agree about being too cautious at home...it's all well and good keeping things tight first and foremost but at home to bottom-feeders it seems that early goals are a must (remember the Port Vale game?) otherwise we just seem to clam up.

Frustrating.
